Indoor Air Quality and Your Vacuum Cleaner

We humans spend a lot more time indoors than outdoors. Purchasing a vacuum filter and vacuum cleaner is important part of improving indoor air quality.

We humans spend a lot more time indoors than outdoors. Purchasing a vacuum filter and vacuum cleaner is important part of improving indoor air quality.

We spend more time indoors than outdoors. Having high quality Indoor Air Quality  (IAQ) Is Crucial!  Did you know: if you don’t breathe you die? Of course you did! But here is a slightly more disturbing fact from the Environmental Protection Agency: poor indoor air quality can contribute chronic respiratory conditions like as asthma, allergies, and in extreme cases severe lung disease.

Indoor air quality is not typically the forerunner of the “getting healthy” discussion, but improving it can have a significant impact on everyday life. Harmful gases, microbial growths, and tracked dirt all contribute to congestion and poor air quality – but you have a defense; it’s probably an upright, and sitting in your cleaning closet right now….Your vacuum cleaner!

Indoor air quality is hindered by an infiltration of particles, pollutants and dust. But with a once-a-week cleaning regimen including an efficient vacuum and vacuum cleaner filter, you can eliminate pounds of contaminants from your home every time you clean.

The efficiency of your vacuum, and in turn, your IAQ is dependent on your filter’s capabilities. A clean, new vacuum filter traps particulates within the machine. But a faulty inefficient filter actually kicks all the material back into the air. As you can imagine, indoor air quality and vacuum filter efficiencies are directly related.

Indoor Air Quality is not just a luxury – it’s crucial. Use your vacuum once each week, and keep that filter in working condition. You know, if you like breathing and everything.

Keep your indoor air quality pristine with a Crucial Vacuum Filter found here.

Crucial-Closure: Hoover Y HEPA Vacuum Bags

Ladies and Gentelmen I am pleased to present to you our newest product and first time manufacturing of the Crucial-Closure HEPA vacuum bags! You might be asking yourself “self, what exactly is a Crucial-Closure HEPA vacuum bag??!” Let me explain: These vacuum bags have a one of a kind closure that seals around the bag opening to keep the lighter dust particles from escaping the bag when removing it from your vacuum.

The HEPA bags fit your Hoover vacuum and are style Y. These bags are absolutely essential for all allergy sufferers. If you check out your older vacuum bags you will begin to notice that the lighter dust typically escapes the vacuum bags and recycles back into your air, forcing your allergies to start-up as well as making you work harder to clean.

Crucial-Closure HEPA vacuum bags provides 99.7% filtration through the bag alone and will trap microscopic particles and allergens. The Filtration Efficiency of these bags being almost 100% compared to as low as only 20% in standard bags, will allow you to notice a great amount of reduction in dust and pollen inside your home.

We at Crucial Vacuum designed Crucial-Closure with a cloth material, not paper, because as we all know, paper is more porous -allowing the dust to escape. This cloth bag allows for better efficiency and traps more dust. These bags simply keep the dust and dirt trapped inside the bag when it is changed – end of story!

If you have asthma, suffer from allergies or would simply like a cleaner home, then please buy Crucial-Closure. We want YOU to be happy and healthy – join us in this revolution. Crucial-Closure comes in two different flavors: packs of 3 or packs of 9. Click HERE to see what other goodies we are offering.

What is a Filter AND Why do I need to Change it?

When most of us think about vacuuming, we think about picking up the dirt on the ground and that’s basically it. There really is a lot more to a vacuum that most of us don’t realize.

All vacuum cleaners have filters and most of them on the market today are depth filters – they draw and capture particles inside the filter. Over time, the filter becomes clogged, which will reduce the airflow through the filter and can compromise its performance. Fine particles that reach the motor can cause overheating and wearing down of the vacuum’s mechanical parts through dirt and dust buildup.

So here you can see how important it is to change your vacuum filter on a regular basis – If they’re not changed, the filter can stir and spread dust and dirt throughout your home. If you or someone else in your home has allergies, you may want to pay close attention to how often you change your filters – and of course I’m going to recommend that you should vacuum on a regular basis to keep the dust to a minimum.

Clean the Air in your Home

One crucial reason to vacuum your home is for your health. Vacuuming isn’t just to keep your floors clean, but more importantly it cleans the air and dust that you can’t see with the naked eye.

With that being said, the importance of clean air in your home links back to what products you are using to make it “clean”. First off, It’s extremely important to change your vacuum filter on a regular basis, it’s usually every 6 months but that depends on how often you use the vacuum. If you only use the vacuum once a month then you can most likely wait longer to change or wash your filter. I’ve never met someone who only vacuums only once a month, but then again you probably haven’t either since you are reading this blog post! We can safely say you are in touch with cleaning your home environment and are asking yourself how you can make the air in your home cleaner.

I’m here to tell you that to clean your home air you NEED a clean vacuum cleaner filter. That should be the first item you check when you are about to begin vacuuming your space. The reason we enjoy selling Crucial Vacuum filters to our customers is because we know they will be able to wash many of the filters about three times before investing in a new one. With the easy washable instructions, we are assuring our customers the right to a clean home and air environment.

Please buy responsibly and buy at Crucial Vacuum. We appreciate your business and any feedback that you may have.
