After almost 6 years of consistently growing out of our office locations, we can finally say we made it to our brand new office space – and it feels awesome!

Collectively with our Crucial Vacuum family, we struggled to find the perfect location to root down and grow into. After searching near and far, we found an instant connection to an office space in Cresskill, NJ. It was an extensive project, one where we really had to use our imagination to envision our perfect space, but it was definitely worth it. Not only do we love the new vibes from our office but our performance levels have also gone through the roof.

Instead of a hard-pressed office with cubicles, we wanted to create an open environment to welcome Crucial Vacuum, our family of other Crucial Brands, along with any visitors that decide to stop by. We even removed the idea of a conference room by adding a lounge with a hanging chair and a ridiculously comfy couch. Now all of our meetings are like family gatherings. This amazing new location has created a type of motivation that reflects on us throughout our day. The pop of orange seen throughout our office would make anyone smile, especially our Crucial Vacuum customer care team. We want to make sure our office reflects the positive energy that we want to reverberate back to our customers. With our new office space, you’ll know the Crucial Vacuum Care team is happy and willing to help all of our customers with their questions and inquiries.

Dyson DC49 Set To Be Smallest, Lightest Vacuum In Company’s History

Breaking news just in: Dyson announced the arrival of their newest vacuum cleaner, the DC49!

The Dyson DC49 will be the company’s smallest, lightest, and most technologically advanced vacuum to date. Dys0n’s come a long way in the USA with many iterations since they launched their first vacuum cleaner – the Dyson DC07 in the USA. This new release by Dyson is definitely something to marvel. Perfect for those city dwellers!

The vacuum is no larger than the standard sheet of printer paper and weighs less than six pounds

(Hang on to those dumbbells people)! Compared to the DC47 which is the previous Dyson ball vacuum model, this new vacuum is 30 percent smaller and significantly lighter. The Dyson DC49 vacuum is able carry all these features while still being the least noisy vacuum the company sells.

How did Dyson make this vacuum so small? Dyson was able to develop this vacuum with their new digital motor which offers Dyson the ability to shrink the size of the vacuum so significantly. But no worries Dyson groupies, this vacuum not only packs the same punch as the previous models, but actual exceeds the vacuum in suction capability and can pick up particles even smaller than the Dyson DC47 Ball.

How big is the dust bin? The Dyson DC49 has a dust bin that clocks in at .5 liters. While this is definitely a small size, this will allow the vacuum to be extremely light and portable to its users. Additionally, Dyson has assured its customers that it is the perfect vacuum for an apartment or a small home.

Unfortunately, the release of the Dyson DC49 Ball Vacuum is currently exclusive to the United Kingdom. However, we are willing to bet that this vacuum is headed to the good ole U.S. of A. in the next few months. While the price point might be high, this is definitely the perfect vacuum for those followers whose space is a premium and vacuum aficionados who hate too much noise! Dogs everywhere thank you!

Planting a Tree for Every 1,000 Vacuum Filters Sold

Last year, we promised Crucial Vacuum dot commers that every time you purchase our brand filter for your vacuum, it went towards planting a tree.

We’re still guided by this simple mission this year as we continue our efforts: for every 1,000 Crucial Vacuum branded filters purchased, we’ll be planting a tree at another local farm. It’s a big job and we could not have done it without the famers as well as our customers. It’s our first full year of working hand-in-hand with Farmers to directly support their efforts and help turn their dreams into a beautiful reality.

We are part of a larger global movement by harnessing the power of internet shoppers to do good!

Chad, founder and CEO of Crucial Vacuum, has announced that through this initiative the company has hand-planted the following trees with the Many Hands Farm located in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts.

Each planting site was prepped in the fall of 2012 with a couple wheel barrows of compost and a few lbs of various rock dusts, which will break down slowly over our trees’ lifetime to provide nutrients for them.

We are very excited to see peaches growing on the tree! Come fall we will see more fruit ready to pick and eat.

It’s The Small Things That Make a Big Difference

It has been almost a month since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The school, the town of Newton, CT and the nation is still recovering from the devastation and heartbreak.

When any tragedy happens it’s sad, but this one we felt very close to our hearts given that it happened at a elementary school. For us at Crucial Vacuum, it was a difficult day but our business had to carry on. While we were picking and packing orders and doing what we do to WOW our customers, we came across an order for Pam, a resident of Newtown, CT. Abdul, our warehouse manager said “I would like to write Pam a caring message regarding what happened in her town.” I liked the way Abdul was thinking and gave him the OK to do it!

Abdul wrote Pam the following:

“Our prayers and thoughts go out to you guys” All of the warehouse employees signed it and off the 25-pack of Crucial Vacuum Miele Vacuum Cleaner bags went.

Then yesterday, we received an email from Pam. She wrote:

Thank-You-Letter-Crucial-Vacuum

This is why we strive to make our customers happy. It’s the small things that make a big difference.

Again, our hearts go out to those still struggling through the aftermath —may all beings be free from suffering

Meet Stephanie – Our Crucial Customer Service Manager

Since our inception at Crucial Vacuum in 2009, we’ve went from 1 employee to just passing the double-digits two weeks ago. The number one source of our growth here has been our repeat customers along with word of mouth referrals. We established our philosophy from day one -  we would spend our time and focus our attention on our customer service and the overall customer experience instead of spending time targeting what our competition is doing.

So, it’s time to meet Stephanie. She is the woman behind our rave reviews, our outstanding customer experience and has been an asset to our customers and our company.

Many E-commerce stores and a lot of our competition do not have a phone number to call when there is an issue or challenge. If they do have a phone number and answer it when it rings (sometimes not even in the USA), they focus on the quantity of calls they can get through rather than the quality of the call.

At Crucial Vacuum, we don’t rate our employee’s performance on average handling time,  which is the quantity of calls the customer support center can get through. We also don’t measure call times (Stephanie’s longest phone call was 1 1/2 hours long). Stephanie is our customer advocate. She is unscripted and in one conversation with her, we know you will know her and develop a strong personal connection with her.  She excels in this position because she is allowed to let her amazing personality shine, without worry of holding back.  Stephanie deeply understands the importance of keeping our customers satisfied and always finds a solution to any obstacle that we come across.  Great Job Steph!
