Meet Alejandra a.k.a. Allie:
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Allie started at Crucial Vacuum in June and has already grown beyond her role. As our incredible multi-tasking customer care and marketing associate, Allie deserves the spotlight.
1. What was your favorite food when you were a child?
Spaghetti with meat sauce! I remember asking for seconds at my school’s cafeteria ONLY on spaghetti day! And now, it is one of my daughter’s favorite foods and it is still mine. I have to have it at least once a week. It is such a great comfort food!
2. What is the top played song on your iPod?
It all depends on my mood. But I have to say (after checking my iPod because I have no idea) my entire folder of BitterSweet songs. I just love them! They relax me at times but pump me up at others!
3. What chore do you hate doing and why?
Ironing! I am TERRIBLE at it! I can take an entire morning to iron a shirt and it still ends up wrinkly.
4. If you could meet anyone living or dead, who would you meet?
This is a tough one. It’s between Frank Sinatra or the Dalai Lama. I LOVE Frank Sinatra but I admire the Dalai Lama so much. I would love to learn from his life experiences and philosophies.
5. If you were reincarnated as a vacuum, what kind would you be?
I would definitely be a multi-tasking vacuum cleaner. One that is as versatile as they come so probably an upright vacuum with a lot of suction and lots of attachment tools. I am very strict and OCD at home when it comes to cleanliness.
6. What is one thing that you didn’t know before working at Crucial Vacuum?
I did not know that my vacuum had filters that needed periodical changes. I almost had a heart attack when I got called into my first interview, went into Crucial Vacuum’s website and saw all these filters. I had never changed the filter in our vacuum even though I vacuum daily.
