Feel Better with Natural Allergy Remedies

With so many allergy relief medications out on the market it can be confusing to figure out which medications to use, so sometimes it’s a possibility to opt for a natural remedy. We at Crucial Vacuum want you to feel your best at all times. We’ve found information that we believe will be able to help you feel better – The following remedies come from exitallergy.com:

EUCALYPTUS

Eucalyptus “calms coughs and relieves nasal congestion.”  It is often found in “cough and cold remedies, chest rubs, and various oils and liniments to relieve pain.”   Eucalyptus has the properties of an “antiseptic and a stimulant with expectorant and antibiotic properties.  Additionally, eucalyptus vapors clear “congestion and loosens mucus.”  Think “steam treatments.”  Also the reason that eucalyptus is used so often in lozenges is because it “increases the production of saliva to reduce the urge to cough.”

RED CLOVER

Red Clover is an asthma remedy when used in the form of a tea.  “It has antispasmodic and expectorant qualities.”

ALFALFA

Alfalfa is believed to combat runny noses, “sneezing, and itching present in allergic rhinitis,” often referred to as “hay fever.”  It is also believed to “nourish the nervous system and to calm the immune system.”

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Apple cider vinegar is “rich in vitamins E, A, B1, B2 and B6” and also has “potassium, calcium, and magnesium.”  If used in conjunction with a “chest compress,” it can reduce “the amount of mucus in the sinus cavities, soothes sore throats, and will shorten the duration of colds.”

LICORICE ROOT

Licorice root has been used as a cough remedy for quite some time.  “It should be used with caution by anyone prone to high blood pressure as excessive use of licorice will make hypertension worse.”  Licorice root has been used in teas to combat a cough and sore throat, such as Traditional Medicials Throat Coat Tea.

Make sure to consult a doctor before considering using natural remedies to see if they are a good option for you.

Crucial Housekeeping News

Some tips about vacuum cleaner maintenance are listed below:

Vacuum Bags:

Your vacuum cleaner bag should be changed if the bag is filled to the indicator line. While some vacuums have check bag indicator lights, it is recommended to change it when it’s no more than three-quarters full. It’s best to check the level of dirt in your vacuum cleaner bag before every time you use your vacuum cleaner.

Vacuum Filters:

A nice thing about vacuum filters is that you don’t have to change them as frequently as you need to change vacuum bags. If the filter shows signs of wear, or is excessively dirty or torn, it’s time to replace it.  When you buy a Crucial Vacuum filter you will most likely be able to wash the filter, use it a few more times and then replace.

It is best to change HEPA filters after six months or after the sixth bag change. Make sure that you check your owner’s manual – it will tell you where the filter is located and will have recommendations for your particular model.

Keep these tips in mind and happy spring cleaning! Remember that we at Crucial Vacuum offer free shipping, low cost – high quality products!

CRUCIAL NEW: Introducing Hoover Y HEPA Crucial Vacuum Bags

Crucial Vacuum is proud to introduce our high quality Hoover Y HEPA Vacuum Bags.  These vacuum bags have our revolutionary Crucial Closure!  The Crucial Closure allows you to seal the bag shut before you empty it out, eliminating the ability for all the dust to get back into the air and your home.  The lighter dust that typically escapes vacuum bags and gets back into the air is caught by our Crucial Closure, which seals around the bag opening.

These HEPA bags are essential for any allergy sufferer or people who have breathing and respiratory problems.  These bags provide 99.7% filtration and trap microscopic particles and allergens, such as dust mites.  Since the Filtration Efficiency of these bags is almost 100%, compared to sometimes as low as 20% in standard bags, you will notice that the presence of dust and allergens is significantly reduced in your home.

Our Crucial Vacuum Hoover Y HEPA Vacuum Bags are made of cloth, not paper, which traps more dust.  The synthetic cloth, with its 4-ply construction is much stronger than paper and works much better than the standard paper vacuum bag to trap and eliminate all elements of dust, filter out pollen, pet dander, and mold out of your home.

These bags also provide improved vacuum performance because they help to minimize the loss of suction as the bag gets filled up.  Additionally, the Synthetic Filter Media does not support the growth of mold, fungus, or bacteria.

We also offer FREE shipping and have the lowest price GUARANTEED on the internet—direct to you from the manufacturer!  Our Hoover Y HEPA Vacuum Bags come in either a package of 3 or 9 bags.

Breathe easier!  Be a part of the Crucial Vacuum Revolution!

Recycle: It’s Crucial!

Crucial Vacuum is proud to offer our customers vacuum filters and bags that are recyclable!  Not only do our products make your home cleaner and help you stay healthier, but when you recycle our products you help our world stay clean and healthy.  But we don’t stop there, our products are packaged in recyclable material!  Our filters and bags can be recycled, and so can all of the materials in which we ship our high quality products to you!

The following is some facts from Headwater Cooperative Recycling—a non-profit organization and the largest recycling cooperative in the United States:

Product packaging accounts for 1/3 of our trash

Plastics require 100-400 years to break down in a landfill

Producing new plastic from recycled material uses only two-thirds of the energy required to manufacture it from raw materials

Recycling 1 ton of plastic can save 1-2 thousand gallons of gas

As much as 40% of selected plastic parts from damaged or discarded cars are repaired and reused

Every year we make enough plastic film to shrink-wrap the state of Texas

Over 1.5 billion pounds of post-consumer plastic bottles were recycled during 1999, accounting for 22% (by weight) of all plastic bottles produced in the U.S.

95% of all plastic bottles in the U.S. market are manufactured from PET (soda & water bottles) or HDPE (milk & laundry detergent)

- 56% of recycled PET finds a market in the manufacture of fiber (carpet & clothing)

- 29% of HDPE recycled bottles go into making new bottles

We at Crucial Vacuum hope you understand the importance of recycling – we certainly do, now it’s your turn to give back to the environment.

Do you or someone you know suffer from asthma or allergies? Well, we know that allergy season is right around the corner – That’s why we at Crucial Vacuum are working hard to get the word out to our customers to check your vacuum filter and bag every time you use your vacuum.

We don’t want you suffering from allergies and therefore we want to supply you with information on how you can reduce your allergies this year. Do you have a sealed vacuum with a clean filter? You should really go ahead and check this as it is crucial to your health.

We may not be able to stop your allergies, as it is tough to conquer, but believe us, we completely understand your pain. Our goal here is to help YOU become more educated on how you can help yourself reduce your symptoms with products that you own at home. Since you can’t control the pollen from the trees or any other outdoor allergen, we want you to control the cleanliness of your home.

You can do this by buying our filters, buying vacuums that actually capture the dirt/dust mite and becoming aware that your home is a great place to start the healing process that your body needs.

We wish you luck this allergy season and hope you can open yourself up to our new brand! We look forward to hearing from you soon! www.crucialvacuum.com
